Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Glad I had my light with me. I had headed out for a ride and my 80yr. old neighbor gal cornered me for like 45 minutes so it got a bit dark there towards the end....I like to stop here for the view now and then

Good news! Glad you're loving it.
My bars were 20mm rise stock as well. I went cheap and cheerful with Upanbike 50mm off Amazon.

Perfect!
I bought some Upanbike bars for my wife's trike.
Priced OK and seem ok.

I did poke around on Amazon, and their pricing on bike parts these days is insane.
$303 for a Spank Ozzy Trail 780 w/Vibrocore. Locally they are $140. I am seeing this a lot on pricing there.
Yes I know it's a Marketplace where vendors do their own pricing but it's out of hand these days.

Folks - do your research on pricing!

Yup. Gotta keep a sharp eye on pricing everywhere.
Never assume one place always has the lowest prices.

well i made it out of the door this morning ,which was better than yesterday. the planned ride in my head was soon abandoned as it appears to be chillier than it looked .:cold: decided to pop in and see a good friend who we laid to rest last Thursday at north road cemetery Spennymoor, which lets me ride a long the Auckland way cycle track
past a field with Shetland ponies and got chatting to a guy who was feeding them apples . dropped into Spennymoor called in and had a few words with Andy (rip mate), then head off round the corner to see my mate pete for a natter and coffee dam he was not in
🙁
🙁

so time to plan fastest way home as fingers felt they were dropping off . only 22 miles which is short for me .. need to MTFU.

warmer day today so off out by 10-30 went the reverse of my usual route. Eppleby cafe was stowed out (bloody cyclists) . so off in the direction to the A66 and greta bridge for a coffee and sausage sarnie 😋😋
.sunny but chilly at times.. returned via Langton-bolam - Royal oak ,dropped into shildon and back along the cycle track....
Sarah was a little grubby so gave her a good wash and she looks stunning 😍😍

Came across the same listing for the Spank Bars and now at $440 CDN. Retail price is $114 USD.

Had a look at Amazon policies and you can in fact report price gouging - so I did. I probably will again too - but I'm not going to hold my breath for too long on seeing any changes.
But the occasional "tilting at windmills" goes well with a nice glass of Red, while killing time on bike forums...

A nice Rioja - I might add, in honour of the concept of tilting at windmills and it's origins.

Some of my favs on ebay etc. show reasonable prices but insane shipping costs.
NOT!

Typical British weather and trail conditions.

You can tell that I'm not timid with my bikes

Although we won't be drinking out of that water bottle 😅
Tie wraps need a trim. ;)
Nail clippers do a nice flush trim if you don't have micro shears.

I do like the the look of a muddy bike. It means you've had a good day!

Good point regarding the cable ties for the chainstay protector. I'm looking into seeing whether I can find a one piece mold which will simply clip on. If I can't find one, I'll make my own. But so far, its protected the frame so I'll probably replace the blue and yellow cable ties with black ones and trim the down 👍🏿

Blue and yellow should stay right now. A symbolic gesture is better than nothing - intended or not.

Well I ended up at an Adidas store. While I was leisurely pedaling home, GF message me and voluntold me to play golf with our guests from CA. My old golf shoes are well, old. So I got new ones that I can also wear for biking and a cap for the golf course. Man I can't wait.
My riding shoes are often an old pair of Ecco Biom spikeless golf shoes.

They work great with MTB flat pedals - your feet aren't going anywhere...

My route to work. Petrol is approaching $5 buck per gallon. I'm saving approximately $100 a week by not driving my Ford pick up truck. I totally enjoy riding when it is not raining. I take advantage of such times. Puts a smile on my face when I see motorist idling at a stop light.
