Local trails in Marysville, Wa.
The two points are across the flood plain from each other; accessed by two different directions.

dont you hate it when they do that? they have been closing our main path to redo power lines. but usually only on weekdays.

just a plain ride today to get some exercise. it started hailing and riding before my turn around. then about 1/3 back I stopped and took off my rain pants as the sun was out. I guess I left the bad weather area.

A plum tree living off the bodies of its victims (its in a graveyard) love this old crypt it is the first thing you see going up this great cemetery best trek investment for my granddaughter who was too small to ride those cheap bikes

I reported to my local representatives on the condition of my bikeway to work and to fix it.
This is our remedy. Root's bumps has been painted. For caution!. I gonna make a big stink until it is level properly.
This is a common problem on many paved trails & bikeways. It's usually caused by tree root expansion. It seems there's always money available to build new trails but little is allocated for maintenance. Some trails are so bad, I ride elsewhere.

I talked to a park ranger last season about these root heaves on a paved trail I ride frequently. He told me candidly that they like them since they act as speed bumps to slow bikers down. I don't know if this idea is commonplace or not but I thought it interesting.

This is why I prefer packed gravel rather than blacktop for these bike paths.

The nice thing though,

They both use the same battery 😷

I guess the big question would be, should I spec them the same and treat them like a Levo and Levo SL or spec them differently to adhere to a particular mtb discipline (Allmountain & Enduro or, Trail & Allmountain or, trail & aggressive trail/Allmountain).

When this rail trail is complete, I will no longer have to ride on side walks and road ways to go from home to work.
On the dirt section there is a hump that I can launch from and get airborne 2-3 feet in the air.
