IT'S CANADA DAY EH ? 102 km today
1562017546600.png

Canada day ride from my house to Mud Bay through Colebrook road, and back through some trails. ***EDIT*** This is not my house.

I met three other ebike riders today, and saw a couple more. This year is WAY different than last season.
I rode most of the way home with a guy on a nicely decked out VoltBike Yukon 750. Pretty cool fatbike.
We talked all the way to his house about how much fun these things are.
Great day!

Beautiful day here in NH nice day for a bike ride rode up to the Everett Dam in Weare NH. The dam was built after major flooding took place in the years 1927 and 1936 Goffstown was one of the towns that got flooded. Talk about red tape construction actually started in 1957 and was completed in 1963. It is downstream of a dam in Hopkinton NH the dams are connected by a two mile long canal.
In three of the pictures you can see the secondary spill way.

I had an awesome, fast and hard ride on Sunday. Going for speed and not stopping to take any photos. It's amazing how much ground you can cover at higher assist levels and pedaling hard.

How much battery was remaining at the end of the ride?

58% of two batteries. The bike is a derestricted (Bikespeed RS) 2018 Delight Mountain with the Fox suspension. It has the Shimano Diore XT 11 speed gear system. The drive train has been modified from a 15 tooth chain ring to an 18 tooth. The original cassette was an 11-42, replaced with an 11-46.

I can not hope for an average near 20mph as my bike shuts off at 16mph. But you got me interested in trying to stay near that limit for a longer time. Say at least an hour. It could also be an interesting test of range when riding in e.g. Sport mode ( level 2 of 3) instead of Eco as I do most of the time.
I do of course ride faster than 16mph every now and then if it’s flat and I have a tail wind or downhill. That raises average a bit.

That’s an impressive fleet of bikes. I’m hoping to convince my wife that she needs an upgrade too. She's not opposed to the idea but wants to ride my Homage a bit first. She’s the show me type. ?

Beautiful day here in NH went on a nice ride out to Concord Audubon and used 1 mile bike path that runs parallel to interstate 89. I started on the bike path just beyond the Audubon area and ended up on Stickney Hill rd at the other end. The pictures show how close the highway is to the bike path. At sticky Hill rd is a entrance and exit to the highway very unusual place for an exit and entrance.

Nancy rode a Nevo Nuvinci GH last year and loved it. She was a bit skeptical when I suggested she join me on a Homage. Now she is riding her 2018 Homage Rolhloff HS and loving it. She feels so much more in control, comfortable at speed and is riding like a champ. I just recently had the shifter updated from the rotary manual to the electronic H14. Her saddle is the Ergon ST Core Prime women's version. She will now ride 50 plus miles and be perfectly comfortable, no chaffing and soreness.
