Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

We were just up riding the Conconully side of Buck Pass. Maybe 5 vehicles went by? We failed to make it to the pass. My friend's bike was having some problems again so we had to turn around. I feel a bit beat up.

We visited the Sit N Bull for sustenance afterwards.

That road, and bluntly all of the unpaved roads out of Concunully, including the connector to the Sinlahekin Valley are all going to beat you up. I rode over Baldy Pass late last summer and between the moon dust and the washboard I was pretty wrecked by the time I got my cheeseburger. Of course I had to get up at the crack of dawn and do it again.

I almost think I like the Tamarack better. Is it still open? I have not been to Conc since last fall.

I think it is now. Next weekend is an ATV Jamboree in Conconully so everything ought to be open. My favorite burger close to home is at The Club in downtown Okanogan. The atmosphere is a little more to my liking at The Club also.

25 mile Sunday afternoon ride with my wife, Marji, on some of our favorite local roads in Stafford Springs and Ashford, Connecticut.

Played hooky from the studio again this afternoon to go biking. That's what semi-retirement is all about. Riding while the sun shines. Today we did a 32 mile ride into Woodstock and Eastford Connecticut. Beautiful well maintained country roads with little traffic. What more can one ask for?

Playing hooky rocks, especially on ebikes. Great scenery!

A few from my ride last evening at 6.30 pm
Was invited to dinner ( pickled herring in several variations and new potatatoes) at my friends house 10km north of Stockholm.
I found out I could make the short ride more interesting by going on trails for a few miles and managed to make the ride 13km.

Oops! That’s pretty funny. Thanks for pointing it out!

I also learned I can edit a post after I put it up. Nice to know!

Slow day today. Great sunny day but I couldn’t decide where to go for a ride so after lunch I rode into Stockholm city centre and bought several maps for biking days to come. After dinner I pulled myself together and went for a little evening ride. Started at 19.00 and returned 20.45. 14miles, average speed 8 mph:rolleyes::)

New wheels day after a bearing failure on my 15 month old Giant PR2 rear wheel... 43.7 miles covered in windy but dry conditions! Not much time for pics today but I got a few! I also had 2 rides recently, 30 and 46 miles so my 2019 total is now 1705 miles! I'm actually enjoying these shorter trips recently but I'm craving a longer ride and hoping to put that right soon;)

Ummm, I confess that I actually wasn't on my e-bike today, but wound up on a new bike trail, the Neuse River Trail, in Raleigh, North Carolina. My friend is on a regular bike and is recovering from a health matter, so my riding the e-bike seemed a bit out of line. We did about 20 miles worth of conventional biking, but it's a great trail for e-biking, though I didn't see any out there today. Lots of tree cover and it follows the river, so it helps with the summer heat. Lots of wooden bridges.
In my first few months of e-bike ownership, I didn't ride the regular bike at all, largely due to the novelty of having a motor available. I find that they're 2 distinct pleasures. The regular bike feels a bit more like an extension of myself as I ride. The e-bike allows me to go faster, farther, and carry more stuff. One result is that I'm much more willing to take chances and explore, simply because the price of adding several miles or getting stuck on a dirt road is much lower. You also don't have that sensation of unexpectedly encountering a big hill and having the day suddenly become seriously un-fun. Effort-wise, in eco mode, it feels like roughly 2/3 the effort of my regular bike, except on hills where it's dramatically easier. 30 miles on an e-bike feels more or less like 20 miles on a regular bike. I'll likely come back on my e-bike and do 45 miles or so (it's something like 32 miles, so 64 out and back, thus a bit beyond the range of my e-bike)
