Enjoyed the report. Where is this ride?

The bridges are all quite elegant -- especially the first. When were they built?
hi jeremy ........... in the uk up in the northeast info on 1st bridge https://co-curate.ncl.ac.uk/croxdale-viaduct/
and the stone bridge
Sunderland Bridge is both a bridge and a village. The bridge is a stone built arched bridge, dating back to the 14th century or possibly earlier. It crosses the River Wear, south west of Durham, and used to carry the Great North Road (now the A1).

Amazing how these centuries-old bridges hold up to modern loads. In southern Spain, they built a fancy new freeway bridge alongside a Roman bridge over a gorge. Giant dump trucks hauling ore from a nearby mine have to use the Roman bridge.

Amazing what you can accomplish with an unlimited supply of expendable slaves.

here are those 17 pounds of bananas they dry really fast. nice and crunchy just how the dogs like them.

My dog Tibet Spaniel died 2 years ago of old age 15, loves riding on the floor board of my Dailem scooter.
Random pictures of dogs in my range. I made friends with them giving them crispy jerk beef chips.

Nice to see someone else posting snow pics of their ride. Brutal winter? I feel your pain. 🥶

Yeah, it has been COLD. Then every time it warms up enough to melt some snow we get another storm lol. Rinse and repeat. First time out since December. I can usually ride all year long, but don't mess with it when the highs are in the 20s and the snow is knee deep.

Good morning you all.
My beloved Bull is not completely fixed. Went to KFC and it demonstrated the same problem which is the display not showing speed.
I got to send it back for further diagnosing.
I have a project that will keep me occupied for the time being whilst no Football on the big screen. This stainless steel is going to be glued and screwed to bling my side entrance.

weather forecast was right for once sunny and a tad chilly... so where today. while i had my porridge i got the urge for some (fat rascals ) and the nearest Betty`s to me was at Northallerton 24 miles away down the A167. thought i would make a day of it so used the old Darlington 50 mile route and with the start and finish bits turned out to be a rather nice 70 miles .
while in Northallerton called in for my normal sausage sarnie at the The Terrace Cafe and a coffee .then it was over the road to Betty`s load up with the rascals and head back ... https://www.strava.com/activities/8515661552

Beautiful tree-lined ride!

Surely you didn't think you'd get away without explaining fat rascals and your strong urge to eat them.

today did not start well ..my Garmin did not want to play and GPS was lost for about 11 mile , might have been because of the northeast`s Bermuda triangle (WEST AUCKLAND) .. LOL . was heading for Toft hill as there is a very nice coffee stop, at the A68 cafe. coffee and cake filled the hole and it was then down to fir tree and then back to Bishop Auckland on the A689, drivers all been well behaved . on the way to South Church had a bit of time so headed along the Auckland way to Spennymoor and call in on a friend but she was not at home .
by then it was time to head home so it was up to Kirk Merrington, and the back lanes to Aycliffe . not as warm as yesterday but nice to keep the old legs turning.. lol 35 miles more or less https://www.strava.com/activities/8521139951
