My bad
I got tourett and I have been left alone too long
I live in a town where it's predominantly Phillipine residents. It has been dubbed "Little Ilocos " after a province in the Northern part of Philippines.
People here paint their houses pink, yellow , lime green, purple. You should see some of their vehicles. They are decorated like the Jeepneys in the Philippines, very colourful.
Pink house is across from mine.
BS

Ride around the neighbourhood. I bought cheap wine. I marinate everything with wine.

I had a choice today, play golf with my golfing buddies and do some day drinking for $5 a hole or go riding, I opted to go riding. Lately my rides are on straight flat bike paths that are freshly surfaced. This morning I went to the Marsh for some semi technical singletrack climbing. Marsh is temporarily close so there weren't any e dirt bikes on the trails. I had the trails all to myself. (West Loch Pearl Harbor)
I had a fantastic morning except my right wrist hurts now from a fall when my front wheel got caught in a rut and lost steering control. Even after a couple shots of double martini. I snapped some pictures before heading home to iced my wrist. @gioflowers Pics of colorful Philippine houses around the neighbourhood. One of them matches your green tires.
@DaveMatthews you rock man!!!! Love that tree.

One picture today on my daily routine riding to work, (if not raining.) I reported a few low hanging tree trunks that needs cut.
With strong trade winds they can be fall hazard.
and a picture of my bike when I went to my sister's house yesterday.

I just been riding laps to and from work
Past weekend I went to the Marsh. ^
Riding laps around my neighbourhood and racked up 15 miles. See Google map time line.

NRD... New Rack Day!

My Topeak Beamrack just doesn't work for the Stance because of the rear suspension. Back tire keeps hitting/rubbing on the bottom of the rack, so...

Enter the Topeak Tetrarack M2L. This device attaches to the rear seat stays and feels quite robust.
After fumbling around for a minute or two I had it installed in about 15 minutes including adjustments.
Total weight allowed is only about 25lbs, but that should be OK for what I want to use it for.

One lovely thing about this setup is that I get to keep the tool/trunk bag on as the Beamrack necessitated its removal.

Has the same connection method so my bag/pannier slides in and locks nicely.

8km ride/shopping trip was successful with around 3 days worth of groceries including eggs, meat, poultry, veggies, cereals etc.

Load was stable with zero issues. When empty, the DXP bag/pannier rattles a bit. When there is a load it runs silently. Likely there's something I can do about that.
So far extremely happy with the purchase.
Perhaps the Beamrack will go to my son, as he has a Giant Talon E which is hardtail.

hi dave
i had the same problem with mine ... (hate rattles) solved mine by nipping the 2 channels that lock it in place by just lightly tapping them all the way along test then if still rattles re tapping till it was snug... you will find it tight to remove at first but it will sort it self out

Thanks mate. I was thinking of putting a piece of rubber on top of the rack at the rear but haven't done so yet. Now I have a couple of options.
Cheers,

While we’re at it, this is the bike/footbridge that goes over the Mohawk a block north of the Erie Canal bike path. Currently there is all kinds of press about Albany opening a new Skyway along the Hudson, which turns out to be basically a concrete sidewalk and a chain link fence on what used to be an exit ramp from the highway… meanwhile what they did in Amsterdam is so much nicer. Every time I ride out that way I stop on one of those benches and just enjoy the spot.
