That corrosion occurred very, very, quickly. You got the bike mid February if memory serves me correctly. With all the snow riding, it must have got in there and just sat.The tech at the shop where I dropped off the Trance discovered a corroded connector below the charging socket bracket which he feels is to blame for the Trance’s brief but unexpected power shut down. I believe it’s the main power wire coming directly from the motor. He cleaned the affected connector, applied dielectric grease, updated the firmware and installed the new wire harness. I’ll pick the bike up tomorrow morning and give it a thorough test ride. Big thumbs up to Don at Red’s in Lacombe, AB for sleuthing the mystery out of this specific bug.
