Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

The tech at the shop where I dropped off the Trance discovered a corroded connector below the charging socket bracket which he feels is to blame for the Trance’s brief but unexpected power shut down. I believe it’s the main power wire coming directly from the motor. He cleaned the affected connector, applied dielectric grease, updated the firmware and installed the new wire harness. I’ll pick the bike up tomorrow morning and give it a thorough test ride. Big thumbs up to Don at Red’s in Lacombe, AB for sleuthing the mystery out of this specific bug.👏👍

That corrosion occurred very, very, quickly. You got the bike mid February if memory serves me correctly. With all the snow riding, it must have got in there and just sat.
Is your garage heated?

I have doubts that it could have been snow. However, I did slosh through some pretty wicked wet gloop a couple of times back in March along the Heritage Trail. One memorable ride was at night when thaw conditions were well underway. If that's the case, then I have little faith in how these bikes are put together. :( Our garage is insulated but not heated so it still remains relatively cold in there throughout the winter season and the battery was removed each time when I returned home from a ride.

Looks comfy. I just bought but have not yet installed the regular Venturemax in 44. I wanted shallower drops but not really into wider bars so I hope it works well for me. I can’t wait.

I don't have an e-mountain bike so I did this ride today on a regular pedal bike with a suspension fork - a necessity for this route. I saw 7 other bikers on the 28 mile ride, 5 had ebikes, the other two turned back. Parts of the trail were a rock garden, I didn't get pictures there as I was too busy trying not to crash.

Dave the next time you are in that area take your FS bike on the Riverview forest flow loop across the street from Mundy park. It is a fun blue rated loop with lots of rollers and no crowds.

High desert of SoCal, probably about 3500 feet elevation, just about 90 F. Nice day for a ride. I did see a mountain lion disappear into the hills, so that was nice to see. I always like to see animals in their proper environment and not in captivity.

this was meant to be a short trip to check that i put rear wheel back together right after a p*****re fix. the first one in 2 years (e-bike with electric shifting) was not as daunting has i thought ..lol ended up going my usual fri ride mostly off road .
altered route and headed straight to Winston-Eppleby for first coffee + scone, then on to Darlington. thought i would give Patches lane a try .. prefer it to cycle path along side the A167 .
it was a little rough but manageable lol. on reaching Coatham Mundaville straight over to Brafferton to find the Cozy coffee which is on my own doorstep that i just found out about.. 😀 . the cake was very yummy, it then started to rain just as i finished so ended the ride cold and wet but Karon had run me a hot bath when i got in 😊😊:.. just short of 40 miles a good day out .better than working.. :) :)

Spring is finally arriving in southwestern Ontario, Canada. Cool weather most days yet, with some sunshine and warmth thrown in. Today I stopped to help some mates launch their sailboat. Mine doesn’t go in until May 29th in another town up the coast.

Not an ebike, but I have been refurbishing my 20-year-old Norco XCS-1. It’s well equipped with 27 speed Deore shifters and mechanical Hayes disk brakes, Rock Shox forks, Fox rear suspension. Added better pedals, straight handlebars and the adjustable stem from my Verve. Still a nice looking bike, and working great again! The 25 1/2” stand-over works well for a very short me.

todays ride was the same as fri ..just i dragged Karon along to show her the new coffee stop which is in theory 3 miles from home . but i did not tell her we were going the scenic route ..lol though it was all on tarmac as the off road sections would have be far to wet after yesterdays rain.
we always stop at high Hulam farm. as karon likes to see if the peacocck is about, (not today) lots of peahens , goats and the pigs.
20210509_110646.jpg20210509_110908.jpg
we then headed straight to first coffee at Eppleby and was shocked to find it overflowing with cyclists. at least 30 plus
20210509_121615.jpg

Very nice! My next "away" trip is going to be Ventura Harbor area, and around the town there, and I'll have to stick my head inside the Anacapa Brewery, it should be Covid allowed by next month or so, if not already.

Thanks! I'll post more pics as time goes. I've been wanting to go to the Ventura area too but would have to spend a night or two since the drive's too far for just a day trip.

This is around in the Pacific Northwest, Washington State

Oh...that's my neck of the woods.

Bowl and Pitcher.

One time me and my two older boys were walking across the bridge from west to east and the Hawk that lives down river was out hunting. The bird was up pretty high, however, when it came over us while we were on the bridge it was maybe 10-15 feet above of us. So close we felt we could grab it! We were stunned to see the beauty of the bird that close. That was a surreal day for sure one my boys have never forgot.

I commute to work a few days a week riding on the trail over there and sometimes in the mornings there's some great wildlife spotting. Herd of deer grazing, a porcupine ambling by, some Moosen it's a beautiful treasure.
