Should an Allen Wrench be stored with your wrenches or your screwdrivers?

Allen wrenches should be lined up, small to large, on a peg board right below the wrenches and between the screw drivers and Torx drivers. If in a tool box in the same drawer as the screw drivers, torx drivers and nut drivers...with wrenches in their own drawer. YMMV

Allen wrenches on the peg board don't adjust the bike on the road. They are also 30' from the bike upside down on the grass outside the garage. I keep the allen wrenches in a zip lock bag, in the metal pencil box that keeps tools from rusting. That rides in the pannier, which leaks in the rain. Since metal pencil box clasps fall off, I glued velco straps to to the box. Mcmaster gives away heavy gauge bags with their shipments. I don't carry anything above 6 mm although the 2 leg stand takes 10.

What's to debate?
I have loose ones in a magnetic metal bowl in a prominent spot in my toolbox. All the other ones in holders are adjacent to them. If I have any issues, it's that I fail to return them after use and have to hunt the m down the next time. It helps that I have many multiples of the same keys.
I always carry the allen keys that fit the ones my Cube requires in a pannier on a ride. I have a bike kit that allows me to to tear apart and rebuild about anything on my bike on every ride. You just can't believe how many times it's come in handy helping other people with breakdowns. Back in my motorcycle days I did the same, only with a much more extensive kit. Rarely needed it myself, but helped many to continue on their rides. Never passed by a bike on the side of the road without asking if they were OK. CN

Feel free to debate. 🤓

Some kids had a Bright idea of opening a tool library on my Island.
Instead of books there are tools.
I donated tools that are not useful to me anymore.

Thats actually a really good idea.

I have four or five sets of the wrenches in a jackknife scattered around the house in strategic place. There's a partial set of T-handles in the tool box. The 4mm is a hot commodity, like the 10mm socket from my car repair days,

If worst comes to worst, they have them at the bike repair island down by the park.

i don't have a peg board / workshop area, but i believe all hex-head implements should be in their OWN drawer, or a significantly divided portion of a large drawer, preferably a shallow one for maximum volumetric efficiency, sorted first by fixing type (L-key, socket, integrated, etc) and then if needed into imperial and metric, and then by size.
