I'm using Cane Creek Thudbuster which is better suspension seatpost than the Suntour. I believe they are around the same price on Amazon. I bought mine for around $120.
You're right in that it's somewhat subjective. I'm using the word "better" based on reviews of people that's tried both. If Suntour works for you then great.Hmmm.
I'm not even going to ask why it's "better" - unless you're a qualified expert and want to talk me through the engineering and science.
It's a matter of personal choice - I chose the Suntour.
Anyone tried this https://www.satoribike.com/pro.php?m=d&pid=103&cid=16&f=14
It should be written on the seat post. Or go to the NCM website and it will be in the specs.
I have an NCM Moscow this is the replacement post I brought, would think it is the same as the Prauge.I own a NCM Prague I do at least 15 to 20 miles a day mostly off road I am explore getting a suspension seat post but I havent got a clue what size my stem is LOL can anyone help with this please as I dont want to purchase the wrong size
Yours in anticipation

I have the suntour post on my mid-drive, and I like it. I'm a big guy at 300lbs, so I'm not sure how long it will last, but no concerns yet. It's a fat tire bike, so between the seat post and the tires, it's pretty cushy. Not quite as good as my old Norco VPS DH bike, but definitely extends my ride ranges by a significant margin. I also like the fact that I can run 'less' seat with the suspension post and maintain the comfort level of my other bike with a giant barstool of a gel seat on a rigid post. After a couple of 20k rides my back is wrecked!
Did some research and today have ordered a Suntour SP-12 suspension post. $120 on Amazon AU.
Hopefully this will restore some of the enjoyment to my rides!
Has anyone else upgraded? Or the forks (which are very basic).
. . . and the verdict is?I use the PNW Coast Suspension Dropper Post on one of my e-bikes (air spring) and the Cirrus Cycles Kinekt 2.1 on the other one (metal springs).
Kinekt 2.1 is a perfect suspension seat-post. PNW Coast is just a good dropper-post but it never worked for me good as a suspension post.. . . and the verdict is?
