Retrofitting shift detection on Brose-powered bike? (2020 Turbo Vado 4.0)

I have a steep climb to get home and often find myself grinding gears while downshifting to scale the hill.

Have noticed the newer Brose-powered bikes have shift detection.

Does anyone know if it's possible to retrofit shift detection to my Brose-powered 2020 Specialized Turbo Vado 4.0?

Many thanks in advance!

in this case what I do even with shift detection on my Bosch is push harder then let up and shift this gives you a bit of momentum. I do this on our tandem a lot.

Ideally you should be on the proper gear so no need to shift when climbing.
It's a very steep, long-ish hill. I start riding fast for momentum, then have to shift down as bike speed slows. If I had to start in a low gear, it'd be an excruciatingly slow ride...

Appreciate your checking in with your dealer about retrofitting!
