Rear Wheel Removal Tip

No it does not make sense :(
I do not like deceptive practices

26" X 4" doesn't make any damn sense either.

26" measures half way up the sidewall on either side of the beads across the diameter of the tire.

I've got three different sized wheels.
26" X 4" fat bike wheels, 27.5" X 2.8" semi-fat wheels, and a 29" X 2" front wheel.
All three wheels with the tires installed are the same overall diameter +/- less than ¼"

It wasn't hidden 🙃 ... but it's also not a pavement tread in any way.

Jumbo Jim"
THE FAT BIKE TIRE. Extremely light. The large volume can be ridden with extremely low air pressure. Ideal on soft ground, rough and very loose terrain. Available in widths of 100, 110 or 120 millimetres.

I rode this afternoon and had to go on and off the paved walk/bike trails to get around people walking in a group. I felt much safer with my knobby’s. There were spots on the paved walkway that had wet leaves from previous rains Monday night and Tuesday morning and there was still excellent traction If I ever decide to get new tires what do you think the Schwalbe Jungle Jims would do for me. I mean the tires that came on this aren’t that bad, just a little noisy on pavement. I am feeling safety trumps sound at the moment,

Ok Gionnirocket, mulling over everything I decided to buy the Kenda Cursor tires. They were on sale (couldn’t pass that up) and I like the tread and reviews.
I will either have to use the tubes I have now or find other as Kenda was out on them. Well one of three things will occur, A. They will work well. B. I might get hurt. C. You might never see me again. Let’s hope and pray it is A.

I don't know... C sounds pretty good 🙃 🤣

You have to understand that On and Off road requires a much different tread, especially if you ride spirited. There are hybrid all terrain tires out there, but not so much in the fat tire world right now. Even then they are a compromise as they don't excel as a single terrain tire does for its particular purpose.
You said that you ride mostly paved so that was the reason for my suggestion. I ride similarly and have swapped out for a more pavement oriented tread with great success on more than one occasion.... so have many others here. Sometimes I'm moving at 20mph and divert to off road to avoid a traffic jam without issue. When I had an off road tire I often found myself sliding on pavement, especially with aggressive braking and tight turns at speed. Not an issue anymore.
I'm sure the 4" factor plays a roll in your case, that's a lot of rubber on the road to begin with.
So though noise is a consideration... Traction, rolling resistance and even micro_vibrarions played a much bigger role in my decision.
As with any new/different tire... Feel it out and learn it's breaking point and you'll be fine.

Too bad they didn't have the tubes... That would have put you over $100 and gotten you free shipping.
So basically the tubes would have been free.

Why do people always want C. For me especially my wife LOL 😂
Yeah, I will try to find some puncture resistant tubes that are quality. If you have any suggests let me know please.

I'm not using thick or puncture resistant tubes myself.... But I am using Flat Out which seems to be working well as I haven't had a flat in over 8000mi.
The one flat I did get over 2 years ago was from a pretty big rusty nail.

I don’t usually go with just 2 reviews but the price is right and the fact that I will be using Flat out….who cares, right?
