Rear Wheel Removal Tip

We are talking diameter not length lol I did inflate the tube inside the tire to check diameter and appears to be 3 in not 4.
Get your head out of the gutter ;)
I took the tires and tubes to Goodwill this morning. Cleaning things up around house and cleaned and lubricated the chain and checked spoke tightness.
Actually it's the tire width measured sidewall to sidewall... or I like to say....girth 🙃
Why didn't you just try them? They may have been ok once mounted.

Because the sidewall on one side buckled and I spent 2 hours just trying to get it half way on and when I put the original back on I was so frustrated the tube was still inside the original and partially inflated I put it on that way without taking the tube out and totally deflating it and in spite of that it went on and inflated in less than 20 minutes. I couldn’t believe it. After that I did not want anything to do with those tires. Just like my wife said when you look at it doesn’t look 4” wide. When I physically pulled it to 4” in the opening there was not much sidewall left and the top of the black part in the center had brown sidewall on either side like that was part of the tread. It was weird and frankly I was just happy to be back. When I thought of how hard that was for the front with nothing to show for it I wasn’t inspired to tackle the back.

We live... and we learn. And you have a good attitude about just moving on about it 👍
Not sure where all the positive reviews on that tire are from. I'd guess from those that don't know any better. Or maybe you got one that slipped passed QC, if that's even a thing.
Me personally I'd stay away from generic tires from unknown brand names.

Yes, I have the same questions as you have, was this one that slipped by and do not understand all the good reviews. The guy had to have known as he folded them like he did and bind the two ends with plastic wire ties. If not then I have no explanation. I do not understand all the 5 star reviews. Were they paid or what? Yeah, I am past all this and will not order from them ever again.
