Phone stand on a supercharger ebike with kiox ?

Hello all,

I received yesterday my supercharger (which is rented until the new version comes up next year) and it has a kiox display on it by default,
I would like to add somewhere on the handle bar my phone, but not as a replacement for the kiox but more like an addon.

Is there any stand that would work for that ?

Thanks !

If you use a protective case for your phone, you must take that into consideration when shopping for a mount. Due to the many sizes & shapes of phones and cases, finding one that has a secure fit can be a problem. Yes, there are many "universal" X grip or clamp style mounts available but in my experience, they just don't hold up well to the vibration of a bicycle handlebar.

After retrieving my phone on several occasions after it fell out of one of these universal mounts, I discovered a fairly simple way to securely hold my iPhone 10s with Otterbox defender case. I used the belt clip that came with the Otterbox and these parts from RAM:

36568 36567 36566

I fastened the RAM plate to the back of the belt clip

36565

and mounted it to the handlebar using the RAM hardware

36563 36564

The mount articulates freely for the best viewing angle, the phone is easily removed from the mount with the flick of a finger and the mount itself is easily moved to another bike if desired.

The example above is for an Otterbox case but the same idea would work with almost any phone case that has a belt clip.

Sirae …
I use Quad Lock's Out Front mount. The bright blue release tab is hardly visible once my iPhone is in place. Black tabs are available as optional extras.

The Out Front mount is close to the Kiox – as you can see, inside the Racktime/Ortlieb handlebar bag mount – but not so close as to interfere.

A charge cable runs from the Kiox anticlockwise around and under the stem to the phone. It's not particularly noticeable.

Hi David !

I was also checking this one out !
Sadly I can only find the normal mount here, since I have a supercharger the handles are quite huge (and empty) do you think it would be possible to mount the quad lock on the handle bar like you did but without the out front mount ? (knowing that my handle bars are bigger then what i see on your image)

Thanks a lot !

That's what I have on mine. To my knowledge, fits all phones.

Beer was in celebration of the purchase of the bike and what a bike it is. Climbed the highest hill near where I live and had myself a bottle of the best (very local) beer.

I should do that too beer celebration after a mountin !
Do you use any particular app for the bike ? like some gps app or bike "computer" app ?

A cold beer after a tough ride is a fantastic reward so I highly recommend it. I use Polar Beat to record heart stats and Cyclemeter and Strava to record my rides.

I've got the Quad Lock Out Front mount on my Supercharger and it works very well left of the Intuvia display.
Not the best pics but they're quite zoomed in from originals.

I use the Topeak dry bag with handlbar mount. It comes in various sizes, protects the phone from weather, gives it added cushioning and protection in the event of a crash, and also has a belt clip so it can be quckly removed from the bars and clip on the hip. https://www.topeak.com/global/en/pr...ecase-series/1091-smartphone-drybag-6"-(2018) It comes with a handlebar mount and you can get a stem mount or a suction car mount as well. The touch screen works through the plastic cover, however it's a bit difficult to see the screen in direct light so not recommended for people who are using the phone for navigation.on their rides.
