Noticeable shimmy/wobble on my step through fat tire

Due to my immense weight of 200 pounds I believe the suspension in the front of my bike is not strong enough and there is no provision to adjust it. I believe it is suspension related. If you see the photos, I put an arrow by the forks showing that there is just a cap on top. Does anybody else out there encounter similar issue and do you have a solution? Is a fork change out a big job thank you in advance for any comments.

200lbs? not immense :) the problem here is customer support, what do they have to say? I would start there. if they have no solution unfortunately your on your own. what is the purpose of that top cap? hard to tell by your photo, air valve underneath or does it turn to increase pre-load? show me a close up of that. possibly you have some type of adjustment there to adjust for rider weight. TrekCraze? a Trek knockoff I suppose. hope we can solve your problem.

Remove the cap and if there is an air valve there increase the pressure. It may take a special pump with a straight nozzle. Mine would need about 100 psi.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that that front suspension fork is a spring fork and not an air fork. Make sure that the headset isn't loose. Park tools has videos that can help

I was thinking headset, too.

@ramrezz425 : Stand by the bike, hands on bars, front brake locked, and push the bars forward and back several times. If you feel slop, your headset could be a contributor.

More than one Abound reviewer reported that the steering was wobbly with 100 pounds on the rear rack. I figured they didn't have adequate tire pressure. The first time I hauled a load, mine wobbled dangerously. I thought the frame was flexing. Then I remembered tire pressure. I inflated them to the max on the sidewalls and it handled nicely.

I have a Biktrix Juggs Ultra Duo 4 ebike, from day 1 out of the box,
I have had severe handlebar shaking when I load the rear basket with more than 30#'s, and no weight in the front basket.

I have since learned that I MUST have a minimum of 20# weight in the front basket when riding.

I spent a week experimenting with all the tricks I could find, and never stopped the shaking, until I loaded the front basket with 20#+ before I put anything in the rear basket.

I run my tires at 5lbs under the max psi front/back tires.
ymmv.

@Nvreloader The sliding mounts on the sides of the rear rack and the stays on the front of it look a bit springy. More mass back there would mean stronger oscillations of the bike. Mass on the front rack could dampen oscillations.

When I put weight on the back of my bike, I guess I needed more tire pressure so the sidewalls wouldn't have so much lateral springiness.

Show everyone the video you showed me on the other forum. It gives a whole different picture of the problem. I'm curious to see if other people saw what I did. Don't want to give anything away and give people pre-conceived notions so I won't describe it.

Fork changeout to beefier adjustable spring fork. $100 on Amazon. I had issues with the bearing changout and repositioning the brake caliper. Stiffer faster rebound reduces wobble but still there. Had to add spacers Amazon could only send me red ones overnight free so I got them.

Can we see the video?

I had a speed wobble too that took me months to figure out.

I only had a wobble when I rode no-hands and had a second battery mounted to the rear rack.

I fixed my wobble by truing and balancing my wheels with solder and mounting the battery to the top tube using polymorph plastic beads.

It looks like crap but it's working great.

I just ordered more plastic beads and black colored pigment beads to make new battery brackets that won't look so shitty.

Those beads are expensive,..
