You might really like M1 Sporttechnik.

A second Google Sheet for the Spitzing for you to compare the two bikes.

The M1 Spitzing is much higher performance than the Stealth Fighter:

$9000 ($7900)
120Nm (?) torque climbs the equivalent of an Olympic Ski Jump (71% grade)
58 pounds (75)
980 watts (3000)
880 watt hours (960)
65-95 mile range (30-40)
47mph top speed (37)

The Stealth fighter is in parens.
Do you always need to peddle on it to accelerate?

wow, that's amazing!

It goes 10mph faster than the SF, on 2000 less watts. It also goes twice the distance. It weighs 17 pounds less.

Are you getting your money's worth?

Yes. No throttle.
  • Drive Modes / Top Speed : Torque Sensing Pedal Assist (Automatic Motor Cut Off When Shifting or Braking) / 15, 28, 47 mph ()
So, does the cost far outweigh the benefit? Which is a better value, M1 Spitzing or Stealth Fighter?
This is quite an interesting comparison. how hard would you need to peddle to reach max speed on the highest assist level??

I also like the carbon fiber frame. Since this is a mid drive I assume you will need to work the gears to your advantage

Judging from the video, my guess it is well within your ability. Here is the gearing. Does this info give you any better idea?

  • Gearing Details / Shifter Details : 10 Speed 1x10 Shimano XT or NuVinci N360, (Pro Ring 48/ 104 Front Sprocket) / Shimano XT RapidFire Shifter on Right Bar or NuVinci Grip Shift on Right Bar

ok so there is one front sprocket and 10 in the back. It appears that the gearing isn't too difficult, probably a peddlec for the better reputation if that makes sense. I wonder if you would have more control peddling or using a throttle. I'd imagine throttle has much more acceleration.

The motor is super efficient because the motor gears have maximum contact. He seemed to be pedalling at a very slow cadence up a 71% grade! He was popping a Whellie over 25mph with very little effort.

It actually depends on how configurable the controller profiles are. It is a software issue.

My opinion is this is a standard to compare efficiency against. Some more super german engineering. You can see how poorly designed stealth fighter is. Very wasteful.

The M1 – drive system combines German engineering with Swiss engine technology (GoSwiss) and German battery- and electronic know-how (BMZ GmbH). A high-tech system that powerfully accelerates the Pedelec / S- Pedelec and ensures gentle control of the engines power, regulated according to the drivers pedaling force.

The "LITHIUM POWERBLOC" battery from BMZ Batterien-Montage-Zentrum is very compact and lightweight. This battery, specifically designed for powerful motorbikes and quads, has small dimensions and a very low self-discharge rate. Further advantages are the fast charging and its long life time compared to standard lead acid batteries.

Thanks to state-of-the-art lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) technology, the highly safe LITHIUM POWERBLOC battery is ideally suited for use in powerful sports vehicles with 2- or 4-cylinder motors up to 1500 cc capacity.

Various parallel and serial cell configurations with capacities from 2000 mAh to 8000 mAh will ensure sufficient battery power for every application.

I'm looking at if from the mechanical side. With a setup with only one sprocket in the front, there is a good chance that you will not be working as hard on the hardest gear with three sprockets in the back. If they have geared it so that it would be harder, then the sprockets would be tiny.

Well the stealth is wasteful, but it sure can jump when you pull the throttle. I've seen videos of a guy just twitching the throttle and the front tire just pops up like a feather

How do you compare it to the german racer jumping? I think this bike is to win races, not freestyle.

Seemed like he didn't need to pedal very hard at all. with that amount of torque, I wonder what the acceleration would be from 0 in the hardest gear. if it has a torque sensor it should jump pretty fast, eh?

Vmax: 75 km/h
0-50 km/h: 7,5 sec. 0 to 30 mph in 7.5 sec
