Curious why you believe you need a new controller?

My boss bought the bike from his neighbor and gave me the job to get it running for him I work with a bunch of mechanics and they all believe the motor controller is bad. Screen will link with an error code 1 and was told by mechanic that would be motor controller. Screen also shows full battery but the bike itself will not engage with any power
