Happy and sad story.
Happy, that I finally received the two
Lectric XP Step-Thru eBikes I ordered 5+ wks ago.
Sad, that one of the ebike had a manufacturing defect/problem.
Problem:
The seat post does NOT fit properly in the seat tube.
The problem is NOT the seat post.
The problem is NOT an adjustment of the quick release clamp.
The problem IS the seat tube.
As I mentioned I bought/have two bikes, so comparing the good ebike to the problem bike made for an easy discovery of the problem.
Problem seat tube - inner diameter = ~35mm:
Good seat tube - inner diameter = ~32mm:
As you can see from the pictures, the problem seat tube seems to be missing an inner metal tube.
Anyone have this same experience? Wondering what I could expect from Lectric customer support?
