I bit the bullet and signed up for youtube adless, it is actually superb not having to watch endless secret military watch and insurance companies hate this adverts.

But I recieved a popup..your storage is full.
Had a quick look..Youtube downloads.

They had defaulted to downloading 'recommended' videos and downloaded 3.5gb of vids I have frup all interest in.

Wtf, 3.5gb at least it was wifi, but still.

Jesus, you hear of people having interviews for content on their phone and google are using youtube to auto download what they want on to your phone, you have to go into settings to turn it off.

This is uncanny, the wife just posted more pictures of the woman who fell in the canal, they took these two with them for photo ops.

I use an extension/addon for my PC browser called uBlock Origin which nukes ads in YT. Not sure about the smartphone though...

Theyve started blocking adblockers on pcs, I watch youtube on smartphone app and smart tv.

I read about that, but it has had no effect on me so far. We shall see...

I got several popups giving me a 30 second wait and eventually a total block till I added youtube to the blocker white list.
No amount of cookie clearing helped.

This guy is the primary a Paramotor flyer, but he had an excellent eye for thoughtful cinematography , the first half at least, even though its a motorbike, certainly reflects my thoughts when out on a solo ride.

Wow. That guy has a death wish. Or a hankering to end up in a wheelchair. A kid broke his neck zooming down a rogue trail in our local park. 17, in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Worth the "thrill"? I don't think so.

I have been listening to WFMU alternative radio from NY/NJ for 9.5 hours. It makes the day go fast. It started with the pre-psychedelic bands and funk that lead to punk rock. Like Jimmy Paige in '64 on a B side jam. Then over the day it went into punk and to where punk went more mainstream with bands like Blondie. It is so much better than the typical fare, or placation music pumped from commercial radio, businesses, and malls.
See if it is fun? You never know what you will get.

our local semi-pbs stations do fair amount of gospel and some others with plenty of weather reports thrown in between and wonder why they are losing support
