Hello new electric bike friends,
I recently got my first e bike. Trek Allant+ 8S stagger model. It was on a great sale as I believe they had extra inventory and it was pre-tariffs. I’ve been using the COBI bike app with quite a few hiccups coordinating the iPhone, the Apple watch and the bike app etc. I’m from Syracuse New York and brought my bike on a camping trip to Wellesley Island State Park on the St. Lawrence River. Sure is fun to not have to worry about wind and hills anymore. 😍

Welcome aboard!

If you get a chance, post some photos of your bike and the places you ride. My 3 favorite forum threads are the ones for sharing ride photos.

My youngest son went to Syracuse. I wasn't impressed with the Dinosaur BBQ, but I miss PastaBilities chicken riggies. There's a place down here that does a respectable job with them.

Welcome! When I was in Syracuse for a few years with a bicycle as my only means of transportation, it was about getting around town at a constant elevation, i.e. going around instead of over the many small hills (called "drumlins") the city is built on. An ebike would've been nice, but they didn't exist then. Fortunately I always lived the bottom so it was always downhill on the last stretch home.
