On my commute to work this morning the clip broke that holds my Sturmey Archer 90mm drum brake reaction arm to the fork. Thanks to a local hardware store that was open early I was able to make a quick roadside repair with a pipe clamp.

The pipe clamp is bending under the strain so as a temp fix I've ordered a replacement Sturmey brake arm clip, and for a permanent fix I ordered a new fork from David Hembrow, the clip only has to get here from Philly so should only take a week or so to arrive, the fork has to come from the Netherlands and with the Christmas mail it likely won't arrive until January. I don't mind it will be a black fork on a red bike as long as it does the job. Together with the adjustable stem I ordered last month I'm slowly turning my Breezer Downtown into an upright Dutch bike.
