I've been riding the Rohloff Speedhub for about one month on the Titanium Fantom and have just shy of 600 miles on it. I'm impressed.......I don't think I'd ever go back to a standard derailleur. I also converted my older 48V 750W bike to the Rohloff so both 750W bikes have the Speedhub installed and I'm about to convert my original 36V 500W bike to the N360...see picture of completed wheel. Total cost was $199.50 N360, $35 Mavic XM319, $56 Sapim spokes. It will be interesting to compare the N360 to the Rohloff. LOL....but I've run out of mid-drive bikes so I won't have the chance to convert to an Alfine IGH....oh well.

Done an Alfine 8 conversion to my BBS02 750 last week, impressed so far, changes smooth, best part probably at a junction or when you have to brake suddenly, just a few cliks and your off in the right gear immediately.

@RoyL that's a beautiful setup! Have you used the Alfine system for long? Just curious if it is as easy to adjust as a Nexus hub. IGHs give a bike a nice clean look and run quiet.

Yes Ann the Alfine has only been on for a couple of weeks. everything positive so far, just don`t know how it will handle the torque of the BBS long term, time will tell.
Possibly the selector adjustment is similar to the Nexus, select 4th gear and line up the two yellow dots on the hub via the shifter control and that dials in your gears- very simple.
As you say they are completely silent, no tick-tick-tick you get on overun with a lot of hubs or cassettes and of course the chain-line doesn`t ever move. My frame has vertical dropouts so i had to use a chain tensioner, if you have a frame with horizontal dropouts you don`t need that, just pull the wheel back.

If you decide to upgrade Alfine to Di2 do some homework on connectors. One conversion I read about said the Di2 connectors are only good for one or two connections. Normally not an issue until you need to remove wheel eg puncture repair.
After a couple of disconnects they are no long water proof. The author in article had to replace complete electric shifting mechanism on wheel.

An aftermarket inline IP67 connector would be one solution.
