So I went back to the website to look at the specs. Under battery after scrolling to the very bottom. it says 48v 10.4 ah by lg or 48v 9.6 ah by Samsung. I then went to check on my battery and there it says Samsung (But no mentioning of 9.6ah). So if I have indeed gotten a 9.6 ah one, that’s just not right.

update: they just emailed me that there’s no difference between the two. I mean I guess??

I think the cell specs are close enough that it doesn't matter. Lectric could have called then 10AH. A 5 % variation is common, and they said you could get either one.

In real life, you'll never know unless you like to run the batteries all the way til the bike stops. And if you do that a lot, you shorten the life of the battery.

That extra amp hour is like two miles right there.

Do some research on lg vs samsung 18650 batteries. These cells are used in banks to make a wide variety of bike batteries. Both publish storage ranges 3300mAh to 3500. Samsung under reports in their published specs but when tested they actually over perform most other brands (including lg). Voltage is the same and the number of cells used are the same for the lectric battery. Using the conservative published mAh for Samsung it would seem it has less storage but when independent side by side identical testing is done it imo it seems lg over reports by a little and Samsung under reports by quite a bit.
