The names DJ 56 in May, my dad left me his Wavecrest Tidal Force ebike. Of course the company went belly up around 11? Years ago so I had very little in the way of advice to replace the nimh battery or hook up a li-ion. I love the bike but it's super heavy. I had to remove the front two sprockets to make the new battery fit on the downtube but it fits perfectly. Only a 7 speed now but more than enuff speeds. My only real problem now is trying to adjust the rear derailleur. What a pain! Tried to upload photos but it won't let me, maybe next time?!
