The ebike industry should give me commission! This would be the 5th person I have convinced to go the ebike way!
So my new co-worker, I took him to a local bike shop yesterday and he rode a whole bunch of bikes and the two that he really like the most - they couldn't be more different!
Why the Hardseven? He likes the 2.8" tires. He loves the feel of the Yamaha motor. It's zippy! He feels the Yamaha motor is an extension of himself rather than superman pushing him from the back! He loved the front suspension! and he absolutely loved the price! He really likes the ride geometry! He feels like the weight is super balanced and overall the experience stood out compared to others he tried!
He doesn't like the looks of the bike per say! It's not very stealth looking!
Why the Como 2.0? The upright riding position. He described it as riding in a recliner, super relaxed ride! He loves the look. The motor is super quiet. Overall the bike is relatively stealthy. He likes the price of the hardseven more than the $2600 como! He feels like the looks of the Como is more business professional than the Sduro!
So good folks of EBR, what are your thoughts on these two choices? Any insights? suggestions? words of wisdom?
His daily commute:- About 9 miles one way. Mostly flats with 3 small hills.
