I wasn't on my bike but in my golf cart on the 5th hole when this big boy came down the mountain to graze right next to the green. He was not scared off by golfers!
At Silverrock, further up the valley from you, there's a hole where we've often had to abandon the tee box as they won't get out of the way. I think it was on 14 or 15 but it's been a few years since we played there so my memory could be fuzzy.

Looks like we won't be coming back to the valley for a while either.

Is your 2nd home in LQ?

Nah, just a regular tourist or at least I used to be. My folks had a place in CC that they asked my siblings and I if we wanted, and we declined. Probably should have taken it, but for many reasons we passed. It was nothing fancy, but it was comfortable and they spent winters there until health insurance was out of their budget.

Most of my Snowbird friends are normally in Phoenix, but there's a few that are in the valley. We tend to spend time in Cabo or Barbados in the winter, but not this year. Barbados is my favorite, but its prices are rising exponentially and will continue post Brexit.

Watching the AE golf on the weekend kind of hurt, "but it is what it is".

Yeah, I try to play a few times a week. The weather has been a little chilly, but still plenty of sun. I was doing great with my biking and golfing until I took a swing on Tuesday and my hip popped and I crumbled. Urgent care doc said it was Bursitis (Bursa sac made the noise he thinks). Gave me 2 shots in the rear and I'm now on the shelf for awhile. It feels much better today but it sure sucks breakin down! I was healthy as a horse until I hit 60...
