Gardens, Fountains, and Sculptures - pics from your rides.

So I changed the name of the thread to include sculptures and fountains because the first two responses were actually sculptures not gardens. And it's much easier to change a title than keep an EBR thread on topic. But the hope is that people will post something "artsy" that they like to ride by.

In the spirit of bowing to the inevitable, this little guy is a crosspost from the wierd & eyecatching pics thread. The best rust bucket(metal) sculpture. A memorial to a local drummer in his brothers front yard. The story is that the drummer was the inspiration for Jim Hanson's Amimal character. All made from scrap ... the cymbals are hubcaps , the drums are chip tins, the hair is electric wire, etc.
After I changed the name of this thread to include fountains and sculptures, the university turned off the only water fountain garden in riding distance. Untill today.

Some historic garden 'art' from my afternoon loop ride yesterday. Our evenings are in 30's now but the days are still warm so I waited for comfortable temps and rode in shorts and closed toed sandals, though I did wear a light cycling jacket. Doesn't look like any 'frost on the pumkin' this year!

Some of you might recognize this as a pneumatic rock drill (who wouldn't?)...🤣 Even a bit of fall color!

On All Hallows Eve this wagon will be driven by a headless horseman...👻

This ore cart would have been pulled by mules that lived 1/2 their lives underground, just like the miners, though the miners got to go home after their 12 hour shifts. The mules stayed in the mines 6 months at a time and were rotated with surface teams. The pick axe has a short handle to make it easier to swing in the mines.

Went out looking for Christmas displays on my last ride, and didn't find much. The white house looks good, though, and Daniel Boone is sporting a Santa Claus hat as well as a Covid mask. It's still 2020, after all.

Since noone else seemed to be doing much, I decorated my back yard spruce tree. The Rockefeller Center it's not, but still a Christmas tree.
