Fender options for Bulls Monster ES

What kind of fenders have people been using on this bike?

I plan to get a seatpost clamp fender for the rear and a downtube fender for the front, but has anyone found a way to attach a front fender to the fork? Would be great to get that better wheel coverage.

Been using my Bulls Monster ES for commuting in snow and slush. Had mud on my face for hours the other day and nobody even told me!

I just use the back half of a Topeak Defender

Sorry, didn't think about the mounting strap width. The fender itself flares to 4" wide, but the mounting straps are just under 3" wide where they meet the fenders.

No problem, thanks for posting and the pic's.
Stay tuned for my version!

This looks like it would almost work except the company says it is designed for up to 3" tires: https://www.evo.com/front-fenders/mucky-nutz-mug-guard-long-fender

Here is a helpful email I got from a UK company specifically for 4" tires.

Hi,

Thanks for the enquiry - Mudhugger make a fat hugger for the front which covers 4" tyres : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mudhugger-MTB-Front-Mudguard-FAT-Mountain-Bike-Fatbike-/132532213491

The rear 26" is trickier and requires a rear SMALL mudhugger with a mudhugger extender (requires some DIY drilling) to widen it for fatbike tyres up to 5" wide :

These all attach with zip ties, which are included along with helitape patches, to protect from scuffing the frame.

Hope that helps,

What about puck board, zip ties, and some scissors? Cost, free.
