The bike has remained trouble free and i ended the summer with around 1600 km,s. I am now in the process of building a 2nd bike with a mid drive motor that will take me out to the trails.

Are you describing your mid-drive build on this site somewhere? I'd be interested to read about your experiences.

@AndyF, Hugh has started a thread about converting his KHS500 fat bike with a 1000 watt BBSHD mid drive motor . I'm looking forward to pics of the finished machine; should be cool!
