As reported by Bicycle Product Suppliers Association, BPSA, sales were up $54 million, a 78% increase. Average wholesale price was $2033.
So that works out to $123,000,000 in ebikes sold (to dealers) at the wholesale level. And translates to about 60,500 ebikes sold here in the US in 2018.

Otherwise a significant decline in number of regular bikes sold in terms of units. Sales $ were up, but that is probably because of ebikes.
For perspective, a drop in units sold for regular bikes of 10% yoy is rare according to industry veterans.
P.S. note it is possible that this does not reflect Sales of some firms ebikes that go direct to consumer such as Rad, EVELO, Sondors, etc.
