Cracked frame on 2 yr old Rize City

That looks like a frame crack -- it is in the weakest part of the down tube and where the forces are likely to be largest on a down tube on a step through bike.

And there's really no imaginable use or abuse where a failure like that is likely to happen. That is obviously a serious defect in the frame construction.

Is it a cheap bike, I have a Saracen alloy frame 12 years old as good as new.

Personally I would go back to the company and make a complaint

I bolted my fatbike frame back together with alloy plates to held the swinging arm, works like a treat.
