Btw, you may want to make a carbon belt drive ebike high on your list (which the Zen and others have). Lower maintenance for commuting, no chain grease and no derailleur hassles, quiet, and just a joy to ride. I may never go back to a non belt drive bike.

The belt is on Zen's Samurai mid-drive model with the Enviolo hub, the Shakti uses a derailleur, chain, and hub motor. I'm interested in the Samurai in the future. I currently use a Hebie Chainglider chain case on my DIY ebike with an Enviolo hub, it works well at keeping the chain clean.
