Cerakote colors and lighting

Does anyone know if a Hydra or Helios is ordered with the standard black is it a Cerakote Black and if so which black is it?

Standard is matte black for Hydra. Not the cerakote black.

I got a swatch and I love moving it in the light and watching the colors change.

I’m also thinking of accenting with tequila sunrise
in the circled area (will look a bit different as the Helios is more rounded but still think it will look good)

This demonstrates the blue/green transition pretty well. It just rained so it isn’t as good as the sun but you get the idea

I really like the color on this Stromer and I think Northern Light was the closest Cerakote color.

Thanks! Yeah I love the blue/green transition, it looks even stronger on a lot of the pictures in the Cerakote gallery, but most of those are in artificial lighting I think.

Kw you're gonna have another pretty one I can tell. So many of the colors look so good. And that it's a ceramic coating sounds very promising. I've gone to having ceramic coatings put on my vehicles to protect the factory paint more.

I know - I think I'm leaning towards Polar Blue at this point... After seeing Acme's.

I have ceramic coated my car and it is AMAZING in the PNW, where the rain just beads off and it makes it so much easier to wash. It's a pain to apply, and quite expensive to have done professionally though - the paint needs to be polished to perfection before applying otherwise you end up covering up a bunch of scratches and it will not look good.
