Brose Drive S MAG vs. Brose Drive S ALU

Hi guys, I put together a nice visual showing the physical design of the Brose Drive S Magnesium vs. the Brose Drive S Aluminum and wanted to share it here. Both still use the Gates Carbon belt drive inside for smooth quiet operation, but the housing is much smaller on the S Mag, it's also more powerful and apparently more efficient as well. I enjoyed testing this recently with the 2019 Specialized Turbo Levo Expert.

This power curve chart was pieced together by some friends who gathered info from dealer websites and reps describing motor operation. I think it's open to interpretation but wanted to share here and welcome input on performance. I've been very impressed with the power output of the S MAG at higher RPM, which you can see and hear in the video review.

I would be very interested to hear your feedback on the Brose Drive T vs. the Drive S for non-mountain biking purposes.

You mentioned on a video review of the BH Atom that you thought the Drive S was overkill for this bike, however, you also made a comment in the video review of the Specialized Como 3 that you would personally take the Drive S motor on the Como 5, if given the choice, over the lesser Brose motors on the Como 3 and Como 4.

Im not Court but I can't really see a need for the S Drive for typical street application. Slightly noiser, probably more power drain due to higher performance (in spite of added efficiency) and higher cost. Street riders should be pleased that T Drives will probably soon be available at a discount for them.
 
I am very interested in the graph you posted a year ago of peak watts vs cadence rpm. I have a Trek Allant +8S which has a Bosch Performance Line Speed (2020) motor. Is there a similar graph available with that motor? Bosch says that the power output doesn't decrease at the higher RPM levels but the Bosch motors in your graph do show a decrease. I could be wrong but I estimate that in the fastest gear on my bike to go at the maximum pedal assist speed of 28 I have to pedal at around 80 rpm so I wonder if that is a factor.
