So what is the test and how do you do it ?
First you need to own or will shortly own a Bafang Ultra motor driven Ebike.
Second you must be willing to pay out of pocket about $500.
Third you must be willing to assume some liability should you kill your motor.
The end result has huge potential to make a better and more silient Ebike motor that benefits the entire Ebike industry.

If you are handy with taking off your motor and taking it apart, please consider this, this is a "Prosumer" endeavor for EBR members to make a better motor and Ebike in the next year or so, if successful.
And although Pushkar the owner at Watt Wagons is spearheading this project; in many ways this is like a GoFundMe or a Crowd Funded project among avid Ebike enthusiasts, tuners and tweakers.
