Belt Tension

I am replacing the rear tire of my Riese & Muller Supercharger Rohloff (2019 model). It’s my understanding that once I have fitted the new tire, I must ensure that belt tension is correct. Would anyone on this forum be able to advise me as to the correct belt tension as recommended by Reese & Muller for the above type of bike? The belt on my bike is a 150007 Riemen Gates CDX-Belt-108T 1. Thanks.

There are a few different ways to measure belt tension, we prefer a tool by Gates called a Krikit as we've found it's the most consistent - for a Rohloff bike, you'll want it at 15-18kg/28-40lbs. If you're using the phone app, shoot for 35-50Hz

That said, removing and reinstalling the rear wheel wouldn't do anything to effect belt tension - just make sure the belt is seated on the chainring and cog and you're good to go.
