Bafang Ultra M620

Thanks ! I ended getting aUltra M620 Direct from Bafang .Non Programable !.
I have 3 issues;
1. Can't enter Wheel size, Spedo & milage is off.
2. The Max speed is set at 37 mph. illegal for me ,I need Max 20 mph.
3, Run-on, stop pedaling and motor keeps forward momentum (for a few seconds About 10') Extremely dangerous & Uncontrollable !
Any help would greatly appreciated .

1 and 2 may have a convoluted path unless anyone can confirm if the BESST tool can be used, which is still a mess anyways. Search in here on ES: Bafang M500/M600 thread
Nothing to be done on 3 at this point other than a replacement controller from e.g. Innotrace. SOL in the US as WattWagons has the sole distributorship but seems to not be selling motors or controllers at this time (or not shipping them). Biktrix was trying to get some custom firmware done but don't know if they'd make it available and also unknown as to how much difference in base settings it makes. You 'could' always try to find a UART motor - non-ideal situation.

What display are you using? Have you tried a different one?
Ridden in a sane manner you are the only one that knows/cares what your speed limit is.

Surprised at your comments. The motor shuts off instantly when you brake. You can set your shift and power functions by downloading app. You tube has many instructional videos. The advantage to to h bafang drive systems is power and your ability to customize the settings with a computer.

A lot of mid-drive e-bikes don't have brake cut-off switches on the brake levers.
