We've just installed a new 48v BBSO2B kit hoping to use a newer TransXPST battery (48v) from an older Raleigh. We used just the red/black leads from the battery (2 others not used) to the red/black motor leads. The display, 850C, illuminates for 5 seconds and shuts off. Battery voltage is 52.9 momentarily, then drops to 36v. Anyone know if this is an incomparable hook-up, or is there a workaround?
