I'm selling or trading in my City Commuter. I wan't something that can occasionally haul an adult (wife). Here's what I'm considering.
Pedego Stretch. I'll fit a thick moped seat on the back as my wife hated the stock seating. Local dealer near by.
AddMotor M-66 R7. Looks/size seems PERFECT but no dealers near by. Looks cramped with a passenger. Mag wheels mean no broken spokes.
Rad Power Radrunner. Passenger pegs look to high/uncomfortable. No local dealer to try.
Rad Power Radwaggon. Trying to avoid 26" wheels if possible. No local dealer to try.
My commute is 14 miles each way. 20mph max is all I need. Bump around local with the wife on the back. She has zero interest in her own ebike. Trying to keep the purchase price below $3000 and step-thru frames, hence the above options. Any opinions from owners? There is a "returned" TERN GSD at our local REI but its still $4000. I like my throttle option to much to get rid of it. Any opinions from owners? Anything I'm overlooking?

If you don't get it right, that might change real soon!

Are you really sure you want to make a 14 mile commute on a cargo bike? I don't know whether I would get rid of that City Commuter right away.

Such a wide spread in prices between the bikes you have listed: $1,200 - $4,000+. Choosing a lower priced "occasionally haul an adult passenger" bike and keeping your commuter seems like a viable option.

Within your price spread, we just bought a Gepida Thoris tandem from Crazy Lenny's for $2,500 plus shipping. Would your wife mind pedaling or does she want to be a true static passenger? On this tandem when the captain is pedaling, the stoker's pedals are also moving.

You have to look at total passenger weight and bike capacity. For a hub motor, it would nearly be a given that you get a geared hub motor and not the direct drive on the Radwagon. I'm certain my wife would NOT want to sit on a strip of foam on a rigid frame bike. I can't imagine using the throttle much without building a ton of heat in the controller and motor. Unless you both weigh less than 150 pounds, you are really going to overload the bike.

By watching review video It seems to me that m60r7 would be an ideal alternate despite of the step-thus feature. Bigger seat post with approximately the same spec.
What do u think?

There is no Pedego dealer near me either yet I wound up buying three of them. I traveled to a dealer 3.5 hours away to take a test ride and bought the first two there. The third was purchased on line directly from Pedego. They are also willing to ship warranty repair parts directly to you if you are comfortable doing your own work.

BTW, the Stretch has a dual motor version which might be handy if you live in a hilly area. The price could be a bit steep for you though.

I have a Pedego dealer literally right around the corner from me. They let the wife and I take out a Stretch to see how it did. Minus a bit of flex with a passenger, and my wife hating the seat pad (hence putting a moped seat on it if I got one) it did what we needed. It will be rare riding a passenger anyways, but would like the option. With my 14 mile commute I would like something a bit more compact than a Stretch though.
I have no hills on my commute or in my area so no problems there.
I don't really have an issue with "mail order" support but I got spoiled with my brick and mortar.
So the search will continue I guess. Still need to get my CityCommuter in the shop after my wreak. I see no damage but it needs a tune-up anyways.
