Not typically. Mine had to be shipped across the continent. I told them I can finish putting it together the way I want it done. Cable lengths etc.
 
Weather is still horrible in the Pacific Northwest. The bike is finally good to go. I had an issue where the HMI would only read the fully charged battery (48V 17 Ah) as 10%. Took a while, but it turns out the factory that sent the motor, loaded a 60V firmware onto it! WW was awesome at helping me diagnose, and rectify the problem. Another week or 2 of rain forecast. then it`s go time. Might upgrade the shifter and derailleur from S-Ride to a Shimano XT. Probably a Deore 50-11 Cassette as the Deore is all steel and no aluminum
