500w Falco motor not responding to console commands

Everything worked fine when I parked it, but after sitting (Inside the house, in a bedroom that's used for storage) for about 2 years without being used, it now doesn't respond to the console or the +- commands. The display on the console actively shows when I adjust the levels of regen or assist, but the motor doesn't respond accordingly. I've read that the motor is supposed to automatically reset the assist to level 5 each time the battery is removed or turned off as well, but this also does not happen. It feels like it's stuck on an assist level of around 1 or 2.

However, I do know that the console is at least partially communicating with the motor, because it still displays my speed, the odometer still works, and it paired to the motor, retrieving the motor ID and the battery voltage.

And just as a note, the motor does function through the entire power spectrum with the manual throttle.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Steve
