48 miles 5,000 feet, a personal challenge on Tuesday

I checked in on the Bosch Range Estimator. https://www.bosch-ebike.com/us/service/range-assistant/

I have found it to be a remarkably accurate tool in planning rides. Here are the projections for Thursdays Mt. Baker ride in Tour mode showing a range of 58 miles. EMTB is 45 miles, Turbo is 44miles, Eco shows 90 miles. I overestimated the total weight at 3117 lbs. I am 215. the bike with one battery is 62, Add in two two more batteries, pumps, tools, water, spare tubes, etc.

Have fun Richard! With 3 powerpacks you will have no problems. That is about the same trip ( 5000 feet and 50 miles return) as from my home to Mt Seymour. Don't forget to salute the young men as you pass them on their acoustic bikes (-:

I did that ride on my regular road bike five years ago. It was a beast! Coming down, I hit 51 MPH which is the fastest I’ve ever gone on a bicycle. I’ve owned a Riese and Müller Supercharger for a few months now. That ride would be a blast on that bike. I have a good friend in Glacier. Might be a good reason for a visit : )

My 30th birthday party was held in Glacier. Rumor has it that somewhere, somehow, my 30th birthday party is still a going concern.
