After trying to update the firmware on my 2018 Focus jam2 C plus my dealer says that the non-di2 bikes (non-pro) can't be updated and that means you can't modify boost and trail modes or use "explorer" modes. Does anyone know if this is true? My bike started the firmware update, aborted 3/4 of the way thru then kept losing bluetooth connection and wanted to continually restore the std firmware...never quite completing that either but it still seems to work OK now. Just can't update the firmware or change the assist modes.
Does anyone know if there's a way to monitor battery charge level while charging. I want to typically only charge and store the bike with 80% charge for extended battery life....then boost it to 100% right before my ride. Thanks
