Guinness Zero is popular now, more so then zero/non alcohol lagers I think. I had a zero Heineken in Galway last month because the Guinness zero was sold out, it was al-right, not brilliant. Zero Guinness is relatively new and has taken off despite being the same price as a full pint, bit mysterious! as it isn't suffering the same tax on alcohol!I drink very little alcohol, just by personal choice. Women take advantage of me, and I get too sleepy long before the fun begins.
;^}
But I love beer — especially pilsners — and found some pretty good 0.5% pilsners that work for me. German Clausthaler and Mexican Corona top my list now.
Since your countrymen seem generally OK with less alcohol in their drinks, how do they feel about non-alcoholic beer — not the dishwater, just the good stuff?
They are still making clausthaler?! I remember that in the 80s. The taste of the Guinness zero isn't bad at all but misses the good 'bite' of a proper Guinness. Or Murphy's or Beamish.
