Fun pre-snowstorm ride to the lbs for some Winter Gear, gloves, etc., about 39 degrees F, wind about 5 mph wnw. Calling for 6-12 inches of snow tomorrow afternoon through Thursday morning. I cannot wait to get out there and enjoy the cold; ended up going about 19 miles or so. Finally got the 85nm update and emtb mode, wow does it make a difference! Sadly, the restaurants and bars are closed again for indoor/outdoor dining so couldn't enjoy an after ride cuppa joe. Happy Trails...

so disappointed! 😞 ended up getting about an inch and a half of snow, mostly rain! There's always tomorrow :)

The weather forecasters mixed the days up again, it was supposed to be dry yesterday but it was very wet! Today they changed their mind from heavy rain to possible light rain around midday but looking at the sky I wasn't so sure, but I decided to chance it! 20 miles in and long before they said the rain was due I could see a biq squall headed my way and I could feel the rain in the air so I quickly altered my route and attempted to outrun the rain!

I was almost successful but with 35mph gusts I wasn't going to win this race, thankfully I did make the right decision though and only got a little wet! I got home right on midday and quickly washed the bike, I could feel the rain coming but managed to get it inside before it really came down! I'm so glad I decided to chance it though and managed another 50 miler, any rides at this time of year are a bonus, almost 300 miles covered this month so I'm not complaining! Not many photos today, it wasn't a day for it!

Another 50 mile ride, RabH. In December. In Scotland. 😋
This is why you won't see me posting my maps or stats in this thread. Snarky comments are as close as I can get.

The tangled forest …

Pine Mountain Quarry Road, Ipswich, Queensland

Pine Mountain Bush Reserve
The day was almost over and the rain had eased up. Time for a brief ride through the refreshingly green bush close to home.

The eagle-eyed amongst us might notice that Homage's new trunk bag seems to be getting along with a pannier. I hardly needed that amount of load space on a short ride! (Just trying it out for post-2020 adventures.)

I mean, RabH presents a challenge to me, Art. Oh, I will show you all on the coming Tuesday! December. Poland. Bears dancing in the streets! :D

It is snowing here in the Sunny Okanogan. The roads are either slick, or wet and slushy.

I just finished riding in Merry 1950s England, where MURDER happens quite a bit. Today's ride was at some kind of estate, turned into a wayward boy's school. Of course, there is a very suspicious acting "American" to have along. Jane Marple is an interesting companion. We shall meet again, tomorrow for more adventure and MURDER.

Quite a bit of killing goes on in that part of the world if one is to believe Britbox. The Midsomer area is particularlyView attachment 74263 unsafe.

Today's ride was a half hour (that's all I can stand) and no hills were climbed nor coasted down.

Some people are just insensitive.

To pain.
