wow look at that a Shimano 105 crank arm. wait whats this? its the power meter arm. The second most expensive part on the bike. it is a valuable tool and it has apple find my built in. too bad I can put on the bosch and compare the two.

no the motor feels good but with all the rain I ride in can cause issues. Best case I will have a backup bike and a new battery. but it may be time to just have a e tandem and the trek for casual use.
Totally get it — riding year-round in Portland rain will wear on anything. If the motor still feels good, a backup bike + a fresh battery sounds like a solid “peace of mind” plan. And honestly, keeping the Trek for casual rides and letting the tandem be the fun project feels like the right call.

I was going to and forgot I had to run the frame to trek to put the headset in before they closed. I forgot I needed to take the riser off my other bike to do it so it was a scramble to get there in time. pea lime soup.
That looks like a great color. Is it a matte finish?

I have this Rock Shox fork that is on my donor bike. I don't know if I will need it. but he trucker has a 45-degree offset and the rock shox 46 will this make a difference? the bad part is I would lose the through axle.

It might be better to try the factory fork and see if you need to replace it first. You won't be riding at ebike speeds.

a bit bummed I have to use road calipers on this guy. I guess I should have know but I did not realize they mounted differently. so another thing to buy. But my mechanic said i can use my deoe xt levers with them so that should work well.

Love the color. I am not sure what you mean by road calipers. My TRP Quadiem G-Spec are definitely not road brakes and work fine on my Disc Trucker. They are flat mount brakes vs post mount.

What your showing me look like mountain bike brakes with the wide mount. The bike is set up for this brake type. How would you mount them do you have an adaptor? Because I have deore 4 piston calipers I want to use.
