no the motor feels good but with all the rain I ride in can cause issues. Best case I will have a backup bike and a new battery. but it may be time to just have a e tandem and the trek for casual use.
Totally get it — riding year-round in Portland rain will wear on anything. If the motor still feels good, a backup bike + a fresh battery sounds like a solid “peace of mind” plan. And honestly, keeping the Trek for casual rides and letting the tandem be the fun project feels like the right call.

I have this Rock Shox fork that is on my donor bike. I don't know if I will need it. but he trucker has a 45-degree offset and the rock shox 46 will this make a difference? the bad part is I would lose the through axle.
