"RROUTE!" sounds like "RAUS!"
Specialized App works via a Bluetooth connection while Wahoo uses LEV ANT+ for the connection with the e-bike. Shouldn't be any issue.Somehow got the Specialized app to record the SL's very first Wahoo ride simultaneously. Will have to figure out how I did it.
Fine here. No idea why you're seeing that. Just checked the RideWithGPS app. Everything looks OK.Everything fine with you Jeremy? I'm asking since your RideWithGPS profile seems to have disappeared?
Thanks for all you help in the switch to the ACE. Still getting used to it and the Wahoo app.I'm glad you chose the ACE Jeremy. A good thing, and possibly the only enjoyable new Wahoo computer nowadays!
You have it all on the Map screen of the ACE... Additionally, you can add/replace the metrics such as Cadence or Power 3s or whatnot to the Map screen (up to 6 fields). What you only cannot add there are the motor data. However, you can have anything else relevant on your TCU! (The phone running Specialized App can reside in your pocket; I even stopped using BLEvo when I got my first Roam!)Need mapping and certain data visible while I ride
I think these are your restrictive Privacy settings (cannot help with that). For one, I can see all activities of Rab on RWGPS.No idea why you're seeing that. Just checked the RideWithGPS app. Everything looks OK.
It's not just about the device. The Wahoo app is no replacement for the Specialized app after the ride. I was quite happy without a bike computer till this phone camera issue came up.You have it all on the Map screen of the ACE... No recent changes in my privacy settings. Still no interest in sharing my ride data on any platform.I think these are your restrictive Privacy settings (cannot help with that). For one, I can see all activities of Rab on RWGPS.
What data are you missing post ride in Wahoo History? It's not just about the device. The Wahoo app is no replacement for the Specialized app after the ride.
This for starters:What data are you missing post ride in Wahoo History?
Performing cyclists would certainly not agree with youBottom line: The Wahoo and Specialized apps are by no means equivalent post-ride, and I much prefer the latter. Simple as that.
Really don't care what performance cyclists do or think. I know what I personally want to know after a ride, and I prefer the way Specialized presents it. Period.Performing cyclists would certainly not agree with youSpecialized App is only good for the e-bike info. Is the workout meant for the e-bike or for the human?
Does the Specialized App give your leg torque, for instance?

Now to learn the ins and outs the new Wahoo and phone. Looking forward to the day when I can stop futzing with all these devices and just use them.
Wahoo, I'm one of the cool kids now!Any rider of the group but one had a GPS bike computer on the bars. The man who didn't own a navigation aid was unable to ride in the group front
Yes, you are!Wahoo, I'm one of the cool kids now!
Jeremy,Turns out, Apple apparently put out a recent warning against putting iPhone cameras with optical image stabilizers (OISs) on BICYCLE handlebars due to risk of vibration damage.
Will share when I have the official Apple document.
Yes, I'll try to find it again. May have just seen it cited in another source.Jeremy,
This has come up in a few recent posts. Can you share the Apple guidance against phones on bicycles?
All I can find is this statement from 2023 which doesn't mention bikes or ebikes and reads like a CAA(cover Apple's A$$) recommendation as far as scooters, mopeds, etc.
Thanks!
Wonder if they know of such a dampener for bicycles? QuadLock has said repeatedly that they tuned their one and only handlebar mount dampener specifically for motorcycle engine vibrations. Bicycle road vibrations occur in a different frequency band and are specifically NOT covered.FWIW, here is the response I received when I asked the Apple Chatbot about vibration damage:
