You are correct as far as non-motorized mountain bikes are concerned. I specifically referred to electric mountain bikes, of which Haibike was the pioneer.

This is a good snapshot of a moment in time but the sands are dramatically shifting. With Accell collapsing it could be a sign of things to come as more Asian BTB brands come out of the shadows like XDS with 8 million or so bikes made each year. Both Giant and XDS produce frames and parts for Trek for example, muddying the picture in terms of volume. "May You Live In Interesting Times".

Ha! saw a similar post under a vid from Cycling About explaining that Koga dropped his sponsorship. The poster said angrily maybe if he made more YT vids about the Koga bike they wouldn't have dumped him! Not that Koga were going bust at the time due to Accell woes...
