Welcome Brian,
I use a free hosting site called postimages.org but you should be able to use the picture icon in the text box to upload a pic. I believe it needs to be less that 2mb in size.

Welcome aboard! Here's how I upload my photos, all of which exceed the forum's 2 MB limit in original form:

1. Copy photos to upload to a processing folder I call "copies".

2. Manually reduce each copy to below 2 MB using a combo of cropping and resizing. My Android's built-in photo editor is more than adequate.

3. Start a new post and click the [Attach files] button below the text box, navigate to the copies folder, select the copies to be uploaded, and hit [Done].

4. Go back to the text box, put your cursor where a photo should go, click [Insert] on that photo's thumbnail below the text box, and choose [Full] or [Thumbnail] as desired.

You'll figure it out from there. This method's all manual, but it's reliable and goes quickly with practice.

Also an opportunity to put 2 basic photographic principles to work: (1) Fill the frame with your subject, and (2) it's often the crop that makes the shot. A good crop is sometimes all it takes to get under 2 MB.

If you use a Windows based PC, you can simply copy an image from a folder or directory and paste it into your message. It must be less than 2MB in size or you will get an error message.

Decided to take a couple of weeks off around my birthday and get a few rides/kms in. We'll see how that goes. So far have been taking it easy, but yesterday got back in the saddle and down to Mud bay again.
Left with 2 layers on at about 16C...

The blackberry brambles have peaked...

I give up...

Why name it the "Future Trail" and then tell you not to use it?

Blocked out of my usual watering station...

Dropped the second layer as the day became lovely...

Yesterday the weather seemed fine at home, sunny and relatively warm so decided to throw the bike on the rack and head downtown. The target was Stanley Park, one of Vancouver's popular attractions.
As I headed north the skies darkened, though it didn't look like rain.
Beached the car at the Maritime museum in Kitsilano to avoid finding a space in the park, and was glad I wore long sleeves...

Need to cross the old Burrard Street bridge to get to downtown...

Took some trails in the park that I had not traversed before...

The old hollow tree...

View from Prospect Point looking at the North Shore with Lion's Gate Bridge on the right...

A popular tourist activity...

The Rowing Club where my band played a gig years ago...

The "Seawall" is a pedestrian and cycling path that circumnavigates the entire park...

Siwash Rock is the stuff of Squamish Nation legend...

A horde of cyclists at 3rd Beach. Many hours of my misspent youth spent here...

Heading back through downtown apartment area...

So glad I packed an extra long sleeve layer as it was quite cool. Might have been the last ride for fingerless gloves. Great relaxing/scenic day though!

Other random photos from Stanley Park ride...

Sculpture on a beach...

English Bay from the Burrard Bridge...

View of Ambleside Beach from Prospect Point lookout. I spent a lot of time there in my youth...

A map of the park and scenic points of interest...

Harry Jerome...

9 O'clock gun. Can't remember when it goes off... Anyone?

"Girl In A Wetsuit" statue...

Underneath the Lion's Gate Bridge looking North...
