I recently I rented a pair of Radmini's with my mom; I'm 6'2" 225lbs and she's like 5'6" 110lbs. Obviously, there was a considerable difference in our maximum range. She had barely gotten through two battery life ticks and I had almost completely exhausted the battery after about 30 miles on a fairly flat dirt trail. We were both using PAS 3 to 5 and a little bit of throttle. The difference in our remaining battery life really showed me that when companies advertise the range on their bikes I have to subtract a little from that being someone qualifies as a heavy rider.
So my questions are: Which ebikes have the best range? Which value-priced ebikes have the best range? And which ebikes would you recommend for someone who is over 200+? I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on either a RadMini, RadRover, or RadCity, but I'd love to hear your thoughts. I'm also considering the NCM Moscow+ given the 40 to 95 mile range.
